We are searching for a UI Developer who will define UI requirements, implement effective UI solutions to enable a powerful, consumer focused interface, and ensure that the Company has an outstanding technology platform and strategy for the web UI layer.

This is a full-time position that can be located at either our LA/Brentwood or Santa Barbara office.

Responsibilities include:
• Build and enhance libraries to ensure a productive and repeatable approach to UI development.
• Work with an outside design firm to implement and improve designs for the website.
• Implement web screens including XHTML, JavaScript, and CSS in a Model-View-Controller (MVC) pattern.
• Participate in shaping global UI standards and their adoption into the applications.
• Make technology decisions pertaining to the types of tools and frameworks we will use.
• Stay on top of the latest UI technology innovations and make recommendations to the larger technology team.


Qualifications:
• BS or BA in Computer Science or New Digital Media
• 3+ years UI work experience
• 1+ years Java experience
• Expert knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and CSS
• Knowledge of MVC Frameworks such as Struts, or Spring MVC
• Knowledge of AJAX and Web 2.0 Technologies
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as YUI and Prototype/Scriptaculous preferred
• String knowledge of Information Architecture principles
• Knowledge of landing page testing/multivariate testing tools and processes preferred
